The Rocker Devine is a hardcore Hip Hop seasoned vet. Literally! TRD aka Shawn Bohannon graduated high school in 1987 and now is a 20 retired marine vet that has been in, and was blessed to have survived real wars. He maintains his hardcore status by delivering lyrics with emphasis, minus the vulgarity of most hardcore rap artists. Must add, through the early years of military, he obtained the job and rank of drill sergeant. Music is for people to relate to and reflect on life as well as a means to escape. Something like television and movies. I like to create VIVID scenes for the listener with the mood of the music, lyric content and sound FX. Entertainment that involves the listeners imagination.
